The Communication module for the Aqua Adapt PC system, provides long range wireless connectivity ensuring that you have the best possible chance of connecting to the internet when arriving in a marina or anchored close to shore. The Aqua Adapt Communication module incorporates a high power wifi internet access system and is supplied with 15dBI external wifi antenna and 10m LMR400 cable. This system add on allows internet access afloat via any public wireless hotspot and can offer ranges of up to 5NM depending upon conditions and the hotspot capability. Once connected, the Aqua Adapt can be configured to share its long range internet connection with any other wireless devices onboard (smart phones, tablets, etc.). Connection to the Aqua Adapt processor is via a simple RJ45 network connector.
